Flag protection and recognition

The Sons of Union Veterans and its associated departments and camps recognizes businesses, groups and individuals who properly display and honor the national colors. Awards are presented as warranted and are announced to local media.

People who wish to nominate a business, group or individual for recognition of their presentation, display, protection or support of the U.S. flag can submit the nomination to the BG Joseph Bailey Camp No. 5, SUVCW, through Commander Bo Vets II or Secretary/Treasurer John Andrew Prime through mail to 745 Rutherford St., Shreveport, LA 71104, or by email to Commander Vets or Brother Prime.
